Here are some too cute pics of all three of us spending a lovely day at the park together this past weekend. Preston is hilarious! He hasn't walked on the grass barefoot much...well, ever, and we gave him the opportunity during this outing--it was so awesome. He just froze--didn't quite know what to think about it. Although he sure loved eating the grass, and picking' weeds. And he loved the ducks in the pond, too. We played and he hit up the swings, AND he slid down the slide with Dad for the very first time, too. Loved that too!
Preston is so big and changing so much all of the sudden. He's playing interactively, not just parallel play. He will toss a ball back and forth with you, and he's signing more words by the day. He is also mimicking sounds and gestures we do on the spot. I'm working hard on using this time that his brain is a pure sponge to teach him lots. Workin' on ABC's, counting, and colors. He got a musical toy/zyliphone/hammer thing for his birthday and he LOVES IT! He immediately figured out the toy and is in love with the hammer; although, our furniture is not loving the new hammer addition. Overnight he also seems to have turned into a pesky little toddler with an attitude. He is starting to throw sass all over the place when he doesn't get his way. His temper flares with ease, and he seems to have less patience. He seems to have become obstinate and stubborn over night! LOL Fun times ahead, I see. :)
Chillin' with Dad. So.Precious.
Pickin' weeds...for real. He was enthralled with the weeds.
He love to swing!!
First time down the slide: success!
Guess how many this boy is? Yep, ONE!
Not sure how to walk in his new sandals. LOL
...and back to the weeds...:)
